Without a sound I took her down
And dressed in red and blue I squeezed
Imaginary wedding gown
That you can't wear in front of me
A kiss goodbye, your twisted shell
As rice grains and roses fall at your feet
Lets say goodbye, the hundredth time
And then tomorrow we'll do it again
Tomorrow we'll do it again

I dragged her down I put her out
And back there I left her where no one could see
And lifeless cold into this well
I stared as this moment was held for me
A kiss goodbye, your twisted shell
As rice grains and roses fall at your feet
Let's say goodbye, the hundredth time
And then tomorrow we'll do it again

I never thought it'd be this way
Just me and you, we're here alone
And if you stay, all I'm asking for is
A thousand bodies piled up
I never thought would be enough
To show you just what I've been thinking

And I'll keep on making more
Just to prove that I adore
Every inch of sanity
All I'm asking for is, all I'm asking for is
Come on!

These hands stained red

From the times that I've killed you and then
We can wash down this engagement ring
With poison and kerosene
We'll laugh as we die
And we'll celebrate the end of things
With cheap champagne

Without, without a sound
Without, without a sound
And I wish you away
Without a sound
And I wish you away

Without a sound, without a sound
And I wish you away
Without a sound, without a sound
And I wish you away
Without a sound, without a sound
And I wish you away

Ashnvfx seems pretty accurate. But I still want to get my thoughts out there. Keep in mind that these will probably be random and hard to keep up with. And most likely wrong. But I some how made the connection, and finding all sorts of meanings is what music is all about anyway, so here goes.
I thought the "and dressed in red and blue I squeezed" lyric was supposed to maybe symbolize something horrible, like completely devestating to their relationship. And the effect of it on the relationship is so bad that it is comparable to gang violence, being red and blue are the colors to rival gangs. So maybe they became like enemies? That's how the line seemed to me.
"I dragged her down I put her out
And back there I left her where no one could see
And lifeless cold into this well"
That lyric is also something that made me think. "I dragged her down I put her out" made me think of how Gerard struggled with drugs and alcohol for a while. And I'm not sure if this song was even written around that time. But maybe he's talking about how she was dragged down with him.
"As rice grains and roses fall at your feet
Let's say goodbye, the hundredth time
And then tomorrow we'll do it again"
This line made me think of them planning a wedding. Then it's cancled, relationship over. But they end up getting back together. Made me think of an off and on relationship.
Wow. I'm sorry to everyone who read that. But I make weird connections. And I happen to think that connections made to the lyrics, no matter how weird they are, plays a big part.
I love this song though. My Chemical Romance is amazing. They really inspired me. And I am one of the people who was saved by them.
