Trust me
There's no need to fear
Everyone's here
Waiting for you to finally be one of us
Come down
You may be full of fear
But you'll be safe here
When you finally trust me
Finally believe in me
I will let you down
I'll let you down, I'll
When you finally trust me
Finally believe in me
Trust me
I'll be there when you need me
You'll be safe here
When you finally trust me
Finally believe in me [ Lyrics from: http://www.lyricsmode.com/lyrics/t/three_days_grace/let_you_down.html ]
I will let you down
I'll let you down, I'll
When you finally trust me
Finally believe in me
I will let you down
I'll let you down, I'll
When you finally trust me
Finally believe in me
Never want to come down
Never want to come down
Never want to come down
(Down, let you down)
I will let you down
I'll let you down, I'll
When you finally trust me
Finally believe in me
I will let you down
I'll let you down, I'll
When you finally trust me
Finally believe in me

To me it sounds just like his addiction he battled... Talking about how drugs will convince you of anything.. Make you believe that they will help everything be ok.. But the second you trust them, they will let you down
I dont think he was tricking, rather than this being sarcasim, i think he got a girlfriend( or something like that) and they were getting close and she started to really trust him and he might have broken her trust, wouldt you agree?
This song is a really awesome song!!! ... Though it is kinda confusing but i believe that the song was purposely meant to have a "sinister, errie" type of vibe... Overall its one of my favorites!! Three days grace fu**ing rocks!!! 1
