i thought this song waas about a bad ended relationship because he says "she" not "it" but my ex left me without telling me and got engage to his ex and i was the last to know i had to hear it from a friend and when i heard this song i thought it was damn accurate. i don't believe meanings from fans i believe them if they come out of the person who wroe the lyrics
This song is about addiction, it's not about a physical relationship, it's talking about his drug addiction and recovery, to which I can relate because I am an addict. It's not something that most people can really get with but he's talking about how addiction will leave you for dead and you'll be the last to know.
