Uh... Yeah, i agree with the girl before me. That description is actually verbatim what i'm going through right now. It hurts to see it in writing.

He is thinking about how he will feel in the future, when he remembers the past. He doesn't feel ashamed about what happened, not really blaming himself. Others might not find his story as important as he, hence "they never know my name. " people tend to forget history. Unless it is recorded, it is forgotten. This boy truly loved this girl, but thought she was so perfect that he put her up on a pedestal. This girl knew she wasn't this perfect, and was feeling bad, like she wasn't that good, or not good enough. She probably didn't know who she was yet or have a good self-image. And he didn't show her enough how much he loved her because he was shy. He doesn't know if she knew that he really wanted her. He feels like they have grown apart now, and don't know how each other feels about the other one. And he thinks she didn't give him a good chance with her. When their relationship is over, they never see each other anymore because she keeps to herself. He hopes she will remember how he tried to make it work. But, he has to move on now so that he won't go crazy. He didn't have enough time to prove he loved her, and feels like he failed. He doesn't know how she feels at all about him because she doesn't tell him. He will always love her, and never will be the same without her. When he is older he will look back, still thinking of her.
