by MEVANS14843 on Oct 10, 2009 at 12:44 AM Show           I think this song is more about closure. It's like he's telling her- putting it right there on the table- "I f#$@ed up, tell me it's too late so i can move on" with compassion of course, and perhaps a touch of self pity.

by ParrotPie on Sep 13, 2009 at 03:20 PM Show           After listening to this song for I guess a 100 times I decided that it is about someone, who wants to leave or has already left a beloved one and is apologizing for that. I guess he, whoever he is, cannot stay where he is and explains that to her, whoever she is, tries to make her understand, that he'll always love her, no matter what and that he is sorry, but cannot change anything. So mostly I think the song is about someone leaving someone ... =/

I tip my hat to Shinedown for this beautiful selection, it's amazing, and they really incorporated a melody of loved and lost, and knowing it was because of you, and now it's to late...it's beautiful.
