Aping my soul
You stole my overture
Trapped in god's program
Oh I can't escape
Who are we?
Where are we?
When are we?
Who are we?
Who are we?
Where are we?
Why Why Why?
I can't forgive you
And I can't forget
Who are we?
Where are we?
When are we?
Who are we in here?
Love muse, everything they do is perfection. Just gonna say that i dont really like the three symphonies but im happy to listen because they told us and like, oldone said they set us up for this album and for these songs and i love they are doing things different like they said after absolution came out.
more then beethoven, this album is prescient. Not very many will understand the full implication this cd presents. Muse has been setting us all up for this CD all along. Ever since "Time is Running Out." Knights of Cydonia, it almost couldn't be spelled out any clearer and yet many will gloss right over the lyrics completely.
I completely agree with you Stock! Some reviews say these symphonies are self indulgent - I view it quite the opposite! While listening to these last three songs on the Resistance album I felt that I was going back in time experiencing a great composition of music but with a futuristic feel. I totally dig this kind of stuff and it's hard to find people who feel the same way, and can relate to it as I do. ;) Luv it!
eery lyrics. I didn't even know these existed till I saw this page. It just sounded like random Ahhing and Oooohing xD Sick, glad someone found them.
I do think In the storyline of the album, this is like, a realization of the deeds and stuff that "The Resistance" has put the world through. Finalizing their thoughts for what happens during Cross-Pollination. Exquisite emotion and thought Matt put into this. He is a genius of Our generation. I hope no one reading this overlooks that. This is the Beethoven of our generation.
