The meaning to this song is about a guy and a girl, who are having relationship issues. They love each other, but maybe they are broken to a point where breaking up is an option. This song is saying "hey, step back. We can give this another try. "
"if you believe everything's all right, then you won't be all alone tonight and i'd be blessed by the light of your company" if she believes things can work, then they'll still be together. "oh, can you tell that i haven't slept very well since the last time that we spoke" he misses her. "please understand if i see you again, don't even say hello" she is heart broken. She knows she still has feelings for him, but maybe she believes that this is the best way. "all the love's still there, i just don't know what to do with it now" he can't push off his feelings for her. He loves her, and he still feels it. "you know, i still can't believe we both did somethings that o don't even want to think about" the things that took a toll on the relationship. "just say you love me and i'll say 'i'm sorry, i don't want anybody else to feel this way'" he wants to hear those three words. He doesn't wish the pain he is feeling on his enemies. It's that bad. "i'll admit, i was wrong about everything" trying to fix the fights. "i'm not strong enough for the both of us" he needs her. "what was i supposed to do? You know i love you you... " maybe he suggested the break up. Maybe he started a fight. He maybe needed to feel what she felt. "

I feel that this song is about a couple where the girl is very doubtful of whether things are working and she's isolating herself from him and he's saying when everything's alright he'll be waiting for her, and he just keeps wishing she will stay. He's also saying to forget anything she or he may have done wrong and they'll put it in their past because he doesn't want anyone to be with her and feel the things they have together, so just stay with him.

Someone gives me this song to hear out. And I think some part of the song here is related to ours. But he did not say any goodbyes yet he left me and it hurts me a lot I didn't knew it would affect me tht much. I also tried to move on but it didn't work yet it didn't help. But now he's back. All the pain I gained gone to longing. He also said this is his favourite song. Should I stay? : ')

It is about a girl that a man is in love with but she always treated him wrong but he still loved her and she left him and he is left with the depressing choice of still loving her and taking her back and asking her to "stay" or moving on and getting over her thus the line " all the loves still here i just don't know what to do with it now" and the end it seem through lyrical hints he wants her and he doesn't care what he is or does for her he just wants her.
