Beyoncé – I Was Here lyrics
I wanna leave my footprints on the sands of time
Know there was something that
Meant something that I left behind
When I leave this world,
I'll leave no regrets
Leave something to
remember,
So they won't forget

I was
here...
I lived, I loved
I was here...
I did, I've done, everything that I wanted
And it was more than I thought it would be
I will leave my mark so everyone will know
I was here...

I want to say I lived each day,
Until I die
And know that I meant something in somebody's life
The hearts I have touched,
Will be the proof that I leave
That I made a difference
And this world will see

I was here...
I lived, I loved
I was here...
I did, I've done, everything that I wanted
And it was more than I thought it would be
I will leave my mark so everyone will know

I was here...
I lived, I loved
I was here...
I did, I've done, everything that I
wanted
And it was more than I thought it would be
I will leave my mark so everyone will know
I was here...

I just want them to know
That I gave my all,
Did my best
Brought someone some happiness
Left this world a little better just because...
I was here...

I was here...
I lived, I loved
I was here...
I did, I've done, everything that I wanted
And it was more than I thought it would be
I wanna leave my mark so everyone will know
I was here...

(I lived, I loved)
(I did, I've done)
(I lived, I loved)
(I did, I've done)
I was here...

I was here to live a life of meaningful moments and events. To be successful and look back on my achievements. To be who I am. To do the best by my family, friends, and I. To love and be loved. And most importantly enjoy life to the fullest. To appriceate everything the creator blessed me with and everything I'm thankful for. So when I die I could smile at the life I had and have no regrets. That is my meaning to I was here.

I was here, the best rnb I've ever heard. It's not about relationships and their ups and downs, but it's about ife in general, about an individual(male/female). It's about doing to someone, something anythng just to make a difference, letting everyone know that you once made a diffrence, live no bad news no rumours but have made some sad face turn into a smiley, give hope to those who've lost hope. Make the world a batter place. Wow! Nice beyonce I'm inlove.

This song is so touching. I absolutely fell in love with this song. I'm using two of her songs for my quinceanera prevideo that will be shown to everyone at the reception, the two songs are halo & I was here, beyonce is pretty much one of the few real artists out there, and that's why I look up to her so much. -irene spirit. I don't really think it has to do with her wanting to make sure anyone remembers her at all but more about the world to feel and see the difference that was made because of her presence in it, and I think that the point is to basically do your best so that the world is different because of your life. . It's about knowing that when you die, the world is better and that you can leave with no regrets, whether or not anyone remembers it was you that made the changes and brought happiness, but rather what was done to bring something better into the world, making it more than it was, and an effect that will last long after memories fade.

This song is really important to me because it really illustrates life's purpose. It's not about the number of friends you have, the people you date, or masking yourself to be something you're not. It's about being yourself and leaving a mark on others. Leaving an impression on every person you come across; loving unconditionally and embracing everyday to the fullest. That at the end of you're life, you can say you have nothing left to give because you have given all your talents and passions to the world. You left it better then you found it. You meant something to someone, and didn't waste your time trying to build up your own walls, but help others break theirs down while still maintaining your self image.

Everyone has a purpose in this life. Your journey has meaning - you showed the world that you were here and that you accomplished more than you thought you could. No matter how much you think you know yourself, you can still surprise yourself along the way with what you are actually capable of. Everyone has a purpose, so don't give up and show the world what you've got - make them remember you by leaving footprints and showing them that you were here!

I think that this song is saying that she lived god put her on this planet for a reason. A reason I think she is completing very well. And to all you haters you can hate all you want but she is still going to go on with her life even if you feel she shouldn't. And when she dies that mean that she did her time and it's up she completed her goals. And up in heaven she'll have new ones.

It is a song that shows that we can make a difference no matter who we are. By smiling, by helping others. We affect everyone around us. It shows us that we are not alone in this world. We are one family and no matter what you think, we always will be. Everyone has their doubts about why we're here. Don't just live for yourself, make a difference and show that in fact, 'i was here. '

I was here means I did all thai I could with the guy I fell in love with, and even tho he broke up with me, I have no regrets, cuz I did "everything that i wanted and it was more than i thought it would be". "i gave my all and i did my best, brought someone some happiness", and I can't but hope I left a small footprint on his path. I can look at the pics he posts on fb and think "well, it hurts. But at least i can say i was here".

I love this song so much, when I hear it I get all teary because it reminds me of my late brother, who died young and I feel like he was gone to soon, there are may things that he was suppose to do for me as a brother and live life to the fullest. I want to live my life to the fullest so that the day I'm gone. People who ill leave behind will have good memories of me. And have good this to say. I hope he was here today. I have so many things to tell him, to share with him, but he's gone. That's why I love this song.

Why does it say I was here and not I am here? Is she trying to tell us that she's gonna die and be sacrificed because, her babys gonna turn out to be ugly. So, if she sacrifices herself her soul goes into her baby and the baby starts to look butiful. I am glozell check out my channel on YouTube glozell1. Friends wise up. I (Lucifer) was here, I lived, I loved, I did, I'v done everything that I wanted.
And it was more than I thought it would be I want to leave (my mark) (666) (sins) so everyone will know. Lucifer tryna prove to us he has been with us all this while. God have mercy on us! See this one also. Something that I left behind When I leave this world, I'll leave no regrets
Leave something to remember, So they won't forget. What satan left behind, trying to convince many souls to himself. So that you wont forget. God bless us. Amen. For more- e-mail iyk. Owusuansah@yahoo. Com.

For anybody who would say 'i was here', maybe they mean to tell that they already have fulfilled their duty as a person. Meaning differ in every situation. For a struggling friend, telling her 'i was here' means that she's not alone. For those who take their love ones for granted, 'i was here' might mean that loved ones were all the way there for us, however, we were very busy doing other things that when they're gone, we could not blame them and all that we can do is feel sorry for ourself.
