this makes me think of my ex, we went out and he cheated on me and i wanted him to myself, but he always told me he would come and just be with me. but he lied. we ended up breaking up and i told him i dont need him and to just stay with his stupid other skxnk...she dumped him next. =D

Though I related this to my life when I was the wife being cheated on. Found my husband was living with another woman when we were seperated, telling me he was living with "Tom". We were still trying to work things out, seeing each other. When I found out he was living with her, I told him to listen to this song. That's how I ended it with him and filed for divorce that same day.

To me this song means- a woman and a man are soul mates and having an affair but he's married and won't leave his wife even though they are meant to be together. Then she tells him to stay with his wife even since him always gong back to her and it gets too hard. I think the moral is be careful who you fall in love with and love is hard and painful. Although they are not together and are not even having an affair it reminds me of Elliot and Olivia on Law and Order: Special Victims Unit because although they have never admitted their love and Elliot is married that is what their relationship is like- for me anyway.
