WOW I just heard this song for the first time; and I saw your post. Needless to say, your post it broke my heart...and it made me cry. It is been about a month and I hope it doesn't still hurt as much!
I'm not sure about the meaning, but I know this, my wife left me for someone else and I ran into his wife. She helped me move some things to storage and when we went to exit her truck and she ask me to stay. Then she put this song in and sang it to me like a songbird looking me in the eye as a friend. I cried like a baby. My experience would make a great video.
