by happycowsfromwyo on Aug 09, 2009 at 02:10 AM Show         +2  i think this song means (and i know i may not be right, since i didn't actually write the song) that a lot of good changes has come to this person in a way that all there failures (vainness), and all there mistakes have started to go away, because they have learned to forgive themselves, and forget. and because of that they are no longer ashamed to be the person they are right now. and i think when it says "now that we're here, it's so far away" that now they are so far from where they once were, and they're surprised of that. but ya, that's what i think this song means
