I love this song, it means so much to me, i have been having alot of personal relationship issues lately and its the only thing helping me to hold it together...

I love this song! I am guessing that it means that this guy and this girl are in a long distance relationship and they dont really get to see each other that much and the girl is starting to lose faith that she wont be able to ever get to see him. Where it says "believe in me
i know you've waited for so long" pretty much means that he is telling her that they will be together someday.

It sounds like he's talking to his wife about his career. He's telling her that she doesn't need to worry about him being in a band. He's chasing his dream and she can believe in him to provide. I like this song, being a married musician myself.
