Look alive, Sunshine
109 in the sky but the pigs won't quit
You're here with me: Dr. Death Defying
I'll be your surgeon, your proctor, your helicopter
Pumpin' out the slaughtermatic sounds to keep you alive
A system failure for the masses, anti-matter for the master plan
Louder than God's revolver and twice as shiny

This one's for all of you rock'n'rollers
All you crash queens and motor babies

Listen up!
The future is bulletproof!
The aftermath is secondary!
It's time to do it now and do it loud!
Killjoys, make some noise!

It isn't a song. It's spoken word, with no deliberate melodic or rhythmic infelction.

It is, however, a track on the album, and the words are very, very awesome.

Oh, now for meaning. It's a pirate radio host broadcasting a message to the resistance/rebels/freedom fighters in a post-apocalyptic future. Alternatively, it may be the broadcaster telling the story of the freedom fighters, but the first interpretation is the more widely accepted of the two.

It also very cleverly foreshadows the end of the album (warning, spoilers below). It describes the killjoys as "louder than god's revolver and twice as shiny"; it then goes on to state that "the future is bulletproof" -- the killjoys were always doomed to fail.

"the future is bulletproof" may also be a reference to 'v for vendetta' -- "... Ideas are bulletproof". Coupled with 'na na na's lyric "standing in v formation", and the overall themes of the album, the reference is almost certainly intentional.

I agree with april 1st poster. It is a seperate track on the cd, this is what people can search up to look up the lyrics, or words, to the song or track, like i did. It isn't part of na na na, it's a seperate track (except for the last bit) because it continues on to na.

Where are you seeing it being called a song? Its a track on the cd, regardless of if its an intro or not. It does infact have lyrics, even though the track ends at "listen up! ".
