Where's your respect? (Where's your respect?)
Why bite the hand that feeds you
It's not over yet not over yet (not over yet)
Plenty more fingers for you to nibble
I'd like to see you get your teeth round this
I'm sure your jaw will surely missed
Not even salt can make your hands taste good
I'm still crunching your lifeline
Not even salt can make your hands taste good
I'm still crunching your lifeline
You do this every fucking time
No sweat (no tears) no guilt
You do this every fucking time
No sweat (no tears) no guilt
Not even salt can make your hands taste good
I'm still crunching your lifeline [ Lyrics from: http://www.lyricsmode.com/lyrics/e/enter_shikari/no_sssweat.html ]
Lifeline, lifeline, lifeline,
Blood fills your palms,
Lifeline, lifeline, lifeline
Blood fills your palms,
Lifeline, lifeline, lifeline
Blood fills your palms,
Where's your respect? (Where's your respect?)
Why bite the hand that feeds you
It's not over yet not over yet (not over yet)
Plenty more fingers for you to nibble
I'd like to see you get your teeth round this
I'm sure your jaw will be surely missed
Not even salt can make your hands taste good
I'm still crunching your lifeline
Not even salt can make your hands taste good
I'm still crunching your lifeline
You do this every fucking time
No sweat (no tears) no guilt
You do this every fucking time
No sweat (no tears) no guilt
Do this one more time and I'll bit your fucking fingers off!
Mechatanner man,you have issues o.o. Grow up mate.

A majority of people interpret enter shikari's lyrics incorrectly. Listening to the lyrics and understanding the meaning of the song leaves you with a deep thought. Just the power that music has on people.

It's just about fighting, simples. There's no nee to look into it any deeper . . . S... S... S... S.. Hikaaari
Im kinda seeing this as being sarcastic, about how the older generation is constantly saying shit like "these kids nowadays have no respect! ". Obviously enter shikari isn't a huge fan of the elderly.. Which is great :d
i also kinda see this as being rebellios to the idea that when your parents get old, your supposed to support them. But they are pointing out that if they showed you no respect growing up, why do it to them when they are decrepit old people.
