Well guys, they are very great meaning, but its about gambling. "Scratch card glory or waist low pleasure?" meaning like trying to win in the scratchy or going home to your girlfriend,wife etc: "Black eyes nose bleeds, don’t look back now" basically means like the repo/debt man coming to take his stuff because he is so far in debt and he prob gives him a few punches before he leaves. ""My white abode, do you remember? My white abode" means he has probably lost his house in his gambling problem. This is pretty much self explanatory he has lost his scratch card or anything other gambling things he has done. and at the end the "what what what" bit means he has lost again and is questioning it... and "try again/insert your coin" is just like the poker machines or slot machines.

I think it may be about someone in an abusive relationship. Maybe someone they're close to loves them and they never noticed. He offers her safety and freedom from pain, but she insists and keeps claiming he'll change. I don't know, but this is what I think about when I hear it. Awesome song, though.

umm well ive always thought of this song as sorta a song about abstinence
my reasoning?

basically the choice to wait and be happy with your decision or give it up now for a few minutes of pleasure

how people bash on you for wanting to be abstinent
and hes telling you not to give up because it'll be worth it.

asking if you remember the safety of your promise to save virginity until marriage

finding out that the other person stayed abstinent also
will be a thrilling thing..
