This song is amazing, like one of thee best songs ever written, if not instruementally, then defiantly lyrical wise. To me its him telling of his biggest desire, which is to make the sanctity and pureness of his dreams a reality. The beginning of the song, he wishes that he would never have to wake up from his dreams, he wants to stay in that world. Then he starts to tell of how he appriecaiates the evil in the world because they make his pure dreams special. but torwards the end of his song he says that he would gladly give up unearthly dreams for the world to change into his dreams. And the Chorus (especially at the end) gives the feeling that he knows what world possesses his desires: Heaven, so I think hes either asking God to take him up or asking Him to bring His Kingdom down here.
