Those who are dead are not dead
They're just living my head
And since I fell for that spell
I am living there as well
Oh...
Time is so short and I'm sure
There must be something more
Those who are dead are not dead
They're just living my head oh
And since I fell for that spell
I am living there as well oh
Time is so short and I'm sure
There must be something more
You thought you might be a ghost
You thought you might be a ghost
You didn't get to heaven but you made it close
You didn't get to heaven but you made it close
You thought you might be a ghost
You thought you might be a ghost
You didn't get to heaven but you made it close
You didn't get to heaven but you oh oh
Oh oh
Those who are dead are not dead
They're just living my head
Oh...
Just been to see them last night. Best night out for decades. This song had such a profound meaning on the boss, she's going to base a tattoo on the first 2 lines.
And Cobaltshadow... ffs! 42 is the answer from HHGTTG, by Douglas Adams. Mind you, he was English, too even if he lived in California.
my favorite part is when he says "You didn't get to heaven but you oh oh oh oh" I love how the song starts out all mellow, then halfway through it gets faster and that just makes this song so awesome. Also they might be making a monty python reference, beause the song is called 42, and im pretty sure that whole "the meaning of life is 42" joke came from monty python, and the fact that coldplay and monty python are both british makes it a bit more likely that they would have done something like that than if they weren't both british. anyway it makes me think of that because this song is about life and death and almost getting to heaven and ghosts. not to say that this song is funny though.
