As with all my other comments I posted - I truly believe this album is for Henry VIII reign -
He and Anne Boelyn = their relationship - he had to choose to separate from the catholic church in order to have his marriage to Queen Catherine annuled and then marry Anne- she would not sleep with him until. And he swore himself to her - he would not have a mistress and sent Queen Catherine away while all this went on. and Queen Catherine was Aunt to the Emperor so England was hanging on by the 'big toe' and going to have alot of problems if all this happened.

it sounds as if Chris Martin is accepting the fact that it is "impossible" to live under the rhelm of God in this world and that rebelling against Him is the only option in life. This, however, is not entirely true. Coldplay depicts the temptation very well and they point out that it is highly difficult to resist when, "she turns you on." Fortunately, the Bible says that there is no temptation that God will not allow you to bear. In order to relieve yourself of the chaos that comes from continually straining relationships, unwanted sexual consequences, or many other difficulties we bring upon ourselves in this life that rob us of our peace and joy, is to follw the word of God and continually pursue a better relationship with him. Look at the evidence around us (the sun setting and rising consistantly, the muracle of a seed becoming a giant looming tree, the way our bodies function without our help) and you are bound to see the work of God...unless of course, it was you who did all these things.

This life is worth living not wasting.
