Bullet For My Valentine – Tears Don't Fall lyrics
Let's go

With blood shot eyes I watch you sleeping
The warmth I feel beside me is slowly fading
Would she hear me if I called her name?
Would she hold me if she knew my shame?

There's always something different going wrong
The path I walk's in the wrong direction
There's always someone fucking hanging on
Can anybody help me make things be-tter?

Your tears don't fall, they crash around me
Her conscience calls, the guilty to come home
Your tears don't fall, they crash around me
Her conscience calls, the guilty to come home

The moments die, I hear no screaming
The visions left inside me are slowly fading
Would she hear me if I called her name?
Would she hold me if she knew my shame?

There's always something different going wrong
The path I walk's in the wrong direction
There's always someone fucking hanging on
Can anybody help me make things be-tter?

Your tears don't fall, they crash around me
Her conscience calls, the guilty to come home
Your tears don't fall, they crash around me
Her conscience calls, the guilty to come home

Oh, yeah

This battered room I've seen before
The broken bones they heal no more, no more
With my last breath I'm choking
Will this ever end? I'm hoping
My world is over one more time

Let's go

Would she hear me if I called her name?
Would she hold me if she knew my shame?

There's always something different going wrong
The path I walk's in the wrong direction
There's always someone fucking hanging on
Can anybody help me make things be-tter?

Your tears don't fall, they crash around me
Her conscience calls, the guilty to come home (Tears don't fall)
Your tears don't fall, they crash around me (Conscience calls)
Her conscience calls, the guilty to come

Be-tter

Your tears don't fall, they crash around me (Conscience calls)
Her conscience calls, the guilty to come home

I think the guy is regretting his past mistakes and wants to make it right but is not sure whether the girl would believe him if he said his sorry. 'Your tears don't fall they crash around me; ' to me is him saying that his pain is her's but it runs deeper. 'This battered room I've seen before The broken bones they heal no more, No more' shows that his been in such a position before but he doesn't think he can rise up from it like he did earlier. The intense guitar part close to the end is symbolic of his anger and frustrations towards himself for all the mistakes his made, the fact that his lost all that he had: 'With my last breath I'm choking; Will this ever end, I'm hoping My world is over one more time! '. The rest I think is self pity: 'There's always something different going wrong' etc.

I agree. It's about a guy who is cheating on the one he cares about. "the warmth is slowly fading" because he's watching her after what he's done and doesn't feel the lust he felt before. He's realizing the magnitude of the mistake he made, and is wondering if the one he cares about would take him back if she knew what he had done. He knows he's not doing the right thing, but "there's always someone...hanging on" meaning that he can't do right by the person he should be obeying because there is always someone else to satisfy. "your tears don't fall they crash around me" shows the impact of the loved one's dispair on him. He knows that she knows what's going on, but he can't seem to make the right decision. He's done it before and can't reform himself without help, he's just not sure if she'll be there to forgive him again.

He feels guilty for being with another woman because he belongs to someone else. He has dug a hole and don't know how to get out of it becauset the "other woman" is hanging on. He can't feel close to his woman because of it. He wants to do the right thing and wish he knew how to get out of the mess (apparently he has made mistakes before)or wishes someone could help and wonders if his girl could accept the facts if she knew he was messing up. If she would still hold him. The one he is with he obvioulsy feels stuck cause he says her tears crash around him and his woman at home he feels her calling to him to come home. To me it is obvious he is torn between what to do about a mess he has gotten into between two women and the weight of what he is doing to both is killling his conscience enough to put this "My world is over one more time!"

I think this song has a darker meaning than most of you think. It is about someone who sick of their girl because he can never make her happy (there's always something going wrong, the path I walks in the wrong direction) and he's talking about his girl (there's always someone f**king hanging on), so, he killed her (with bloodshot eyes, I watch you sleeping (she's dead) the warmth I feel beside me is slowly fading).

One of my favorite songs. If it isn't already my favorite. But anyways, I believe that he has realized that he has done wrong by cheating but he can not bring himself to tell her because he knows it will hurt her deeply, but he knows it is the right thing to do. What I do not understand though, is that it seems that he has cheated on her before and if it hurts him so much to tell her what he did, then why does he keep doing it? I do not know. Haha but I just lovveee this song to pieces! [[[:

I've been through so much and everytime I'm feeling down, this song makes me feel so much better. Its a reslly great song. Although, I wish it was heavier like asking alexandria, or maybe even had like a techno bear to it like skrillex because a lot of their songs sound alike, and this one deserves to be that one odd ball out that everyone likes no matter what kind music you listen to.

There is a separation between us. I can feel it when you sleep next to me and I can't. There's always something different going wrong. Nothing I do is the right thing. Can anything make anything better? My memories of us are fading, would you here me if I called your name? We've had this fight before, we've done all these things to each other a thousand times. Will this ever end? Can any body help me make things better?

I think that it means that he wants her to know that he has done something terribly wrong something that he's loosing sleep over & debating if he should tell her, but he's scared to tell her because he doesn't want her to leave him because he loves her n he'd take it back if he could, n he's saying that if he told her, and she cried the tears that fell from her face would be so painful he'd wish for death, and if she didn't cry. He would want to know if she'd take him back and forgive him. This song has a cirtain meaning to me n its sacred to me I absolutly love it!

I think that this song is beautiful! It is one of the best songs by them and this was the first song that I listened to by bfmv and I loved it and that's what made me love their song so much. They do sing pretty well and I told my cousin and she listened to it and liked it and basically gave it to all her mates by email and they loved it. This is such a cool song and I think that they are very good at these things. This is like one of my favorite songs in history and I love it.

This song is about a guy who loves a girl, but does something to hurt her (lie, cheat) but as sad as she is, he can't believe he hurt her andjust wants her back, even though she isn't exactly perfect: "the path I walk is in the wrong direction" but until she forgives him he'll never forgive himself, no matter what, and he tries so tries to get over her, but he can't, and she's in his head so much he can barely think of anything else.

I think this song is about an alcoholic/addict in a relationship. When he leaves on benders she is in so much pain. She begs him to get clean, and he desperately wants to which is why he always comes home after the bender. (In reference to bloodshot eyes/ tears crash around me/ her conscience calls the guilty to come home) and he tells her he will stop drinking and leaving in the moment because he loves her and doesn’t want to cause her pain the the “moment dies” and even though tries many times to get and stay sober the “warmth” fades and he relapses. He needs help and knows that if he doesn’t change she will leave. He’s so ashamed of his addiction and knows she deserves better but he’s in pain too which is why he turned to drugs/alcohol. Probably a bit of a stretch but that’s how I interpret it.

I suffer from bpd and this song sort of hits home for that. I relaize it's about a cheating guy, buuut, the part where he says "the moments died, i hear no screaming, the visions left inside is slowly fading" to me rings true to my explosive anger and then the way my fiance and I seem to get past it. Like I said, I know what the song is about, but it means more than that to me.

I think that this song means that one guy keeps n deciebing this one girl over and over again, and no it's finally setting in exactly what he has done and the mess he created. He notices that he cares for this girl too much to ever let her know what secrets he kept from her. And now he is questioning himself about how she would react if she knew the true side, the secrets behind his sinning. He justs doesn't have the heart to tell her what is really going on, so he hides it, pretending it doesn't matter. But it truely does matter.

I think the guys realizes hes doing wrong by cheating on her[well duh] and he cares about her too much not to tell her. So when it says "her concious calls the guilty to come home" I think it means that theres something about her he doesn't want to lie too, and when it says "her tears dont fall they CRASH around me" I think it means that other peoples tears don't effect him, but when she crys it effects him horribly. And he realizes that hes made too many mistakes when he says "this battered room ive seen before" so its obviously not the first time hes hurt her.
