I think that this song is more of a story. A guy is in love with a girl who is suffering, and in his attempt to save her he is sacrificing his own life. (I can see through all your empty lies.) & (Feeling your cold dead eyes, stealing this life of mine.) He is giving up himself for the chance that she might make it through.

I get the feeling he is fighting his demons for a better life.

This song is one of the very inspirational ones that talks about all your bad deeds, in this one i think it is about him repenting on his past sins, like the line "easy to find whats wrong, harder to find whats right" that means like its easy to give in to temptation but its hard to do what you know is right, also the chorus kinda gives me the feeling that he has died in "this world so wrong" and is now in like a crossroad: will he give into sin again or start doing the right thing? and he would choose the good path, but he has to fight his demons in order to go on that path thats were i think the lines "as we dance with the devil tonite, dont you dare look him in the eye, as we dance with the devil tonite" come from, he has to fix his mistakes to become a good person
