Heart don't fail me now
Courage don't desert me
Don't turn back now that we're here
People always say
Life is full of choices
No one ever mentions fear
Or how the world can seem so vast
On a journey to the past
Somewhere down this road
I know someone's waiting
Years of dreams just can't be wrong
Arms will open wide
I'll be safe and wanted
Finally home where I belong
Well starting now I'm learning fast
On this journey to the past
Home, love, family
There was once a time
I must've had them too
Home, love, family
I will never be complete until I find you
One step at a time
One hope, then another
Who knows where this road may go
Back to who I was
Onto find my future
Things my heart still needs to know
Yes, let this be a sign
Let this road be mine
Let it lead me to my past
And bring me home
At last

I am singing this for an audition song! And I love the movie Anastasia and all of the songs! My first choice for the audition was Let it Go, but my Bff is singing that so, oh well! But this one will sound great! I just wish I was as good as the lady who does Anastasia's singing voice!

I've got to say that this includes my all time favorite quote ever. "People always say life is full of choices, no one ever mentions fear." It's so easy to tell someone that choice is inevitable, and it is. But no one mentions the fear of the unknown. Not knowing whether or not you'll make the right decisions.. But that's just me.. All time favorite quote ever!

Anastasia is an important movie for all ages: It represents finding the dreams of family, but not the physical kind, as thought by the protagonist. It represents that no matter where you go, as long as you forge the right kind of relationships, family will always be there. This song is also really really really really good. As is Once Upon a December. This song is the first one where we see Anastasia, and she doesn't really know anyone outside of the orphanage, the place where she's spent ten years, only with the same children. They're in a way her family, but she outgrew the orphanage, and now has to find her "real" family. You should see it. You can thank me later.
