Anastasia – Once Upon A December lyrics

Dancing bears,
Painted wings
,
Things I almost remember,
And a song someone sings
Once upon a December.

Someone holds me safe and warm.
Horses prance through a silver storm.
Figures dancing gracefully

Across my memory...

(Instrumental interlude)

Someone holds me safe and warm.
Horses prance through a silver storm.
Figures dancing gracefully
Across my memory...

Far away, long ago,
Glowing dim as an ember,
Things my heart
Used to know
,
Things it yearns to remember...

And a song
Someone sings

Once upon a December

I love this movie, and I really love this song! It's about a girl who doesn't know that she used to be royalty. In the scene where this song is played, she has entered the condemned palace and is looking at all of the things that were left behind when everyone fled. She feels like all of the stuff is really familiar, but she doesn't quite remember how she has seen them before.

It is such a beautiful song! I love it! The first time I ever watched it was with my big sis nova! I love you nova! It just means alot to me since I lost my memory so many years ago. I myself am alot like anastasia! I just love her beautiful singing and her soft gentle and kind loving ways. I love the movie and the meaning of it in its self.

Its about a young girl who doesn't kno anything about her past. When she sings this song, the spirits of the people who were killed during the revolution of russia try to remind her of what kind of world she was born into, and when she dances with her father,(the one who kisses her forehaed) she gets a sentimental feeling inside her, as if she knew him somewhere, but she can't remember.

I love this movie because it has great singers. Plus the girl is kind of remembering the palace with people dancing but she is really confused on why and how she is seeing this. A and I just watched it 2 months ago for the first time ever and I personally think it is the best movie of all time well that's not a Disney movie. At first when I was told that this movie was not from Disney I felt so weird just because the movie seemed so much like it was a Disney Pixar movie so that was really surprising to me. And now I just can't stop singing once upon a December because it is definitely and obviously the best movie ever in the whole universe. I even think I will try to watch that movie today just because it's that awesome.

This song, and this movie has touched me. I watched this movie with my older sister and brother when I was just a kid. That was before DVD's you young'uns and VHS was the way but I digress. My siblings and I watched this movie so many times that we could've acted out the whole movie for you all by ourselves and sang all the songs by heart. Up till today once some one starts singing "once upon" everyone of us comes in with "A DECEMBER!!!!!!". Sigh. Memories. It always touches me. Even the evil villain song "In the dark of the night evil will find you" lol. "Dimitriiii!" ok too much reminiscing now. For those of you who have not ever saw this and loved frozen, you will love this more.
