I personally can relate to the feelings she goes through in this song--knowing no one cares, wanting to run away from it all. In this song, Joe and Common play characters. Joe play an innocent friend, and Common plays his friend, who has just committed a crime. Joe received a call from his friend, saying that he needed a ride. So Joe picks him up, only to find that his friend has just robbed a bank. So Joe is panicking, not knowing what's the right thing to do. And that's when his friend gets inside his head, telling him that he can live like a king, with everything he's ever wanted. But the police finally catch them. Joe's "friend" watches, as Joe is getting the blame. But that's when Joe finally decides what's right. He let's his so-called "friend" get what he deserved. This song is the best song on the album, in my opinion. I love this song, and it never gets old! They should do some more songs like this. I love when Joe raps!

Omg! Gavin Degraw has a new album! Omg! I have got to get this! How come I never heard of this album? Gavin is so awesome! The new omg: Oh My Gavin! So any ways. This song is a beautiful song. I'm guessing that he's in love with this girl and he's teling her that he wants to be more than just friends ("Won't you call my number?" I've lost my patience; Take me with you; You keep me holding on" "Wake me from this slumber"). He wants to know if she will to ("Tell it to me straight"). But he's also warning her that he isn't going to be perfect, so he will make mistakes (I'm no knight in shining armour" "I'm no pair of dancing shoes"). This song is beautiful. Gavin is a wonderful singer. I love his music.

This song is about a girl who is neglected by others. Everybody knows who she is, but nobody wants to talk to her. She hopes and prays that the day will come when somebody finally sees the true potential she has. That potential could possibly be enough to land her on top of the charts, or the lead role in that must-see movie that will come in the future. By that time, though, it'll be too late. This song reminds me so much of this girl back in the 4th grade. Everyone hated her. They'd come up to her and tell her she's ugly or fat or dumb right to her face. I sadly was a small part of it. I can't help but wonder what she thought to herself. It was so sad. She was a very lovely girl, too.

This song is hilarious! Don't take it so personally. If you do, you're hypocrites. The song American Idiot, yes, I do find it offensive. But that song, It doesn't seem like they're trying to be funny. This song is solely for humor. And that's what I think it is! I like the line "See the map, they're hovering right over us. Tell ya the truth, it makes me kinda nervous". And I like everything after that! But the whole song makes me rofl! This is truly a humorous song! Love it!

This is a beautiful song. Avril does a good song at singing this. This is much better than Leona's, though I do love her version, don't get me wrong. It's just, Avril's tone makes her sound as if she might cry on these 'sadder' songs. Each and every song she writes sound unique. I can't really describe how her voice is, other than beautiful. Leona, while she does have a beautiful voice, her songs are more or less the same sound. She's just singing too loudly over the top. Quite honestly, Leona gets old and boring. Now, saying all this, I mean no offense towards Leona, her songs, or her fans. I am just simply saying what I believe. Leona is a beautiful women, with an equally beautiful voice. I just simply think Avril's version is better. Yes, I'm an Avril fan. And yes, I know some people can't stand her. But this is what I believe. Before they play it, the radio host keeps informing that it's originally Avril's. Good thing. I don't want people thinking that it's hers. Avril put a lot of effort into writing this song. I love Avril's version. She put the hard work of writing it, Leona just took the words and sang it. Nothing bad towards Leona. I just think that singing a cover of a song like this takes away from the meaning. You know what I mean?
