To me this song is definitely about God's love for us. We go through a lot of hard times because of the power of sin, but the power of God is greater than anything else. No matter how bad things are for us and no matter what we have done, He loves us more than anyone else ever can, even if we don't believe in Him. He is the only way we can find real peace and the only One who never changes. Trust in him and he will direct your paths! Open your life to His love and you will never regret it.

I love this song and think it's really sweet. The only part that really bugs me is when he says "And the one poor child that saved this world, and there's ten million more who probably could, if we all just stopped and said a prayer for them." Correct me if I'm wrong, but he is meaning Jesus when he sings that line. If I'm right about that, then he is wrong about the 10 million more. Jesus wasn't just the son of man, he is also the son of God. He is perfect. He is the only one who could have died for the sins of everyone in this world, because he is the only one who never sinned.

I think he's talking to a girl who is constantly dating different guys, telling her that if she keeps it up she'll end up alone because no one is looking for a "player" (for lack of a better word) in the long run. That's what I get out of it anyway.
And it is totally true that no one wants to end up with someone like that in the long run. Girls don't want to anyway. So why do some guys think it's a sure turn-on? Clueless.

I think they have been fighting a lot and he sort of forgot how much he loved her, but now he is realizing that she is such an amazing girl that he wouldn't ever want to be with another person. He's falling for her all over again. Love this song.
And I agree we 'leoandaries' that "because a girl like you is impossible to find" is one of the sweetest lines ever. Any girl would be flattered.
