This song means a lot to me. Its about his little sister and how much he loved her and tried to stop her from hurting herself but she always wanted to give up. She didn't want to live anymore. So then she went to a mental institution because she couldn't control herself. It kinda remindes me of my brother and I. I always wanted to give up on life. My brother helped me out. He never gave up on me.

I think this song is really deep. Hes talking about the war in iraq and about 911. "we've sent planes to kill them and some of them were children" I think he really wants the war to end. I do too. The meaning in my opinion is that we Americans shouldnt be in war. Its killing millions. Even Children. I love how he says we the people did not want war. I think the war is really bad and we should end it already. Its taking peoples lifes. People in Iraq harldley have anything and we want to kill the people. I don't think its right. I don't think he enjoys it either. I reallty like Flobots cus they write inspirational music.

I did report on this song beacuse it relates to my dad in a lot of ways. My dad is an addict. He is going through the prosses of recovering. To me this song means that he was an addict (abused drugs and alcohol) and hes trying to find his place in the world. He says that "I'm not the only person with these things in mind" and my dad had to discover all of this on his own. This is my favorite song by them. I love Linkin Park!
