Life isn't perfect; there is rough times and when it comes he's gonna be there for others to lean on. He will pick up the broken hearts and put them back together. He's gonna be the encouraging and shelter that protects them from harder times. God will find you those that need Him. He does not walk away because you are shattered, but actually this is the time where you could get the closest with Him. When you rely on His strength He won't let you down. He's your shoulder.

He knows that he could never get through without his brothers there with him. He's offering his shoulder for them also. They aren't necessarily blood brothers, but people who he loves and loves him. He's letting himself protect them and guide them. When they are low he's there to shield them and take up their worries. They are his lighthouse, and he is theirs.

When the world doesn't understand or accept the artist he goes to the person who will take him. When your depression gets too deep and you bleed just to know your alive, he's saying his life feels like a nightmare and needs to hurt them self so that it will overwhelm the mental pain. He's spilling everything so when he does get in a bad spot and he doesn't want the world to see him she'll know why he's acting the way he is.

When you're a kid you don't think about what you're doing, you just do it. You throw a ball, no thinking about how fragile windows are. When you get older you start to see your actions affect you and others. Your voice is too loud is showing someon older wishing that he or she was still younger and could share in the fun without feeling responsibility weighing on their shoulders. The water is warm but it's sending me shivers, meaning maybe it looks cool but they have already grown up and knows that it won't have good consequences. There is a point in everyone's life where you grow up. Some are forced to take responsibility because others won't and that makes them tough. Others grow up but are still children on the inside because life gave them an easy deal of cards. Either way we all mature.

The artist thinks "Virginia" is beautiful even with all of her flaws. He doesn't care that she doesn't own a dress or that she wears high heels when she exercises. He thinks it's awesome that she is unique and doesn't care what people think. She says she wants to be the queen but she likes the life she lives with all its quirks and everything else. You'd think most people want fame and fortune. That's what "Virginia" thought too but she realized her life is pretty cool how it is.

If you let life go by and hold onto grudges then what are you really even living for? You're gonna die some day and that's inevitable so why not make it the best 100 years. A full life is only around 100 years and most people don't even make it that far. You are going to look back and be like why didn't I say something, or why didn't I just apologize. Don't live with regrets. Go for it. I know 100 years seems like a lot but it isn't. My brother died 2 years ago when he was only 7 months old. You never know when you'll pass on so love like it's your last day and make your life the greatest!

Mr. Johnson is expressing his disappointment about a girl who doesn't have much feelings for him. He has put up with her friends and is waiting for her love in return. He wants a plot twist or something else than just flirting. He knows it's hard to wait for love but is always helping her thinking that will help the relationship keep progressing. He's always waiting on her and says if I was in your position I'd put down all my ammunition. Jack is saying if I were you I'd just give it a chance instead just keep tearing me down. He's kinda mad too probably that he's giving so much effort and she's doing nothing.

Akon is apologizing for things he has done, hasn't done, will do, and things nobody else will take blame for. He had to be responsible when the people in charge wouldn't do their jobs. The first part is talking to his wife and saying sorry for the times he wasn't there for her and his son. The second part is to his mom. It's talking about when his dad divorced his mom and left her to take care of the kids. He's sorry that he had to turn into a thief and that he got taken away by the government which wasn't his fault. The third part is to an underage girl that got admitted to a club somehow. He should not be blamed and her dad, like Akon said, shouldn't have let her out that young. He's sorry for the embarrassment she felt and for everything else. Even though he's taking the credit he doesn't feel like he should have to do it, but he's doing it for his fans. This is pretty cool to me.

I believe that 'I lived' was just a song about taking jumps and risks in life. Sometimes you can't just play it safe. You need to get out there and sometimes that means being the outcast. I promise once you make that step away from the everyone else then others will follow your example. In life there will be setbacks but you have to just keep going and never live with regret because if what you did made you better then it's a great thing you will have joy and pain and broken bones but through all of that will come character and strength that will build you up. Never take the easy way out of a situation because it probably won't work in the end.

There are things like death and words that you can't ever take back. When you lose somebody that to you love it leaves a huge hole in your heart. He can't deal with the pain of his girl leaving so he drinks it away which just gives him more problems. He didn't know he depended on and loved her so much. When he let her go he realized she was the missing piece in his is life. She was his whole world. Like the artist says you only miss something when you don't have it anymore. Without her gone he never knew her presence was why he was surviving. Watching the music video really explained it well.

Some people don't realize that the government tells us what to do. The U.S. is a free country eh? Social media tells how to dress and where to go. We aren't free. People are brainwashed into following what everybody else does. This song says, "Cause you're a robot. They designed your life." It's saying that they can't think for themselves. CTE doesn't listen to other people. They do what they want when they want. I'm not saying you should go out and murder someone but you don't have to do what people say. You should say what you think and do it. Don't be afraid to do something spontaneous. Stand up for what you believe in and be somebody different than the norm. Step out of line and make some noise.
