This is from the show and the video links to the one made by Hasbro (not smile hd, which is some shitty fan animation where the music in the back isn't even the same, it's also sped up to an extent, so no clue why the other comment even mentions the fan-made gore of a children's show bronies try not to be weird challenge). Smile was sung by Pinkie Pie during the episode A Friend In Deed. This song essentially captures the essence of Pinkie's laughter and joy that she wants to spread to others around Ponyville. Her favorite thing is a smile! (right next to 2 cupcakes, of course) :) In the episode A Friend In Deed, Pinkie sings the smile song and helps sad fillies cheer up and even helps apple jack paint her barn :3 after she meets a cranky doodle donkey and makes it her mission to become his friend and make him smile.
