i think this song is about a toxic relationship, a couple or even friends.

I think it makes quite sense, "It's pitiful how you let me lose
You better run, better run
Your time is out, nothing you can do
Better run, better run"
To me it's pretty clear that the other person is tired of the toxicity so they are saying basically "its not fair on how you make me feel like i lost in the relationship." And is warning the toxic person to get out of their life "you better run, you better run."
But this is what i think the song is about though!

So my theories are:

Theory 1: There was a girl that seemed like an innocent angel, but in reality, she was secretly a psychopath and was losing her mind. She just was fake nice to her ‘best friend’ and was blackmailing others.

Theory 2: There was a girl that was abused by her parents/mum/dad/sibling(s) to be bad, and forced her to go to the dark side and become like them. She did not do that, so they continued and tried and tried to make her become like them. They became more and more aggressive to her and almost became hostile. The behavior they put on her eventually made her commit suicide.

I love this song! lets see if I can explain... ( oh boy this is gonna be long)
As you can see, this is the first perspective until the quoting, "You better run, better run." I see a person talking about a really good friend that turned their back on them, and the person is giving a lot of emotion and feeling. Thats just an over view. Now get ready for my writer skills to kick in >:)

So this is saying the dude is going insane trying to find/bring back their friend. This is probably right after the friend pulled away or the narrator is is just flash backing. "Please don't leave me shows that they REALLY wanted their friend back. Next section!

Ok so this is the Chourus (I think) And the friend literally is forgetting that they were friends and is fighting against them, and didn't help them when they lost. They thought the friend was good, like an angel but they weren't. Narrator is saying how things turned upside down. And I'm been writing for 5 minutes so I'm gonna stop here
