    I think that he is remembering childhood dreams, hopes and expectaions. I think he is mourning the loss of innocence. However it does wreak of tragic loss of a loved one. I think he was describing himself that at one time in his life he was riding high and he felt as if he was ten feet tall. Then the object of his desire either left or passed on. The coldest days of his life was when he had to give an appearance that he was alright but he was really crumbling inside and needed to run for emotional cover.

    Some of the lyrics given here are incorrect. The song says, "i thought it was here", not "i thought it was him. " another part that is miswritten is, "it couldn't be much worse down the low. " that should say, . "down below. It then repeats, "ooh, down below. " I did not post my opinion about the meaning of the song, but perhaps having the correct words might influence one's perception about the meaning.

    Beautiful melody, nice harmony, excellent voices; but, the meaning isn't perfectly clear to me. It seems obvious that the singer is lamenting a sad loss, but I'm unsure exactly what. Early in the song he refers to " ... what I had dreamed of ... i thought it was him ... ten feet tall ..." And later, there is "She's what I had dreamed .. She's all I could think of ..." Oh, could he be remembering his mother and father?
