Words and music by Rick Founds

Lord, I lift Your name on high
Lord, I love to sing Your praises
I'm so glad You're in my life
I'm so glad You came to save us

You came from heaven to earth
To show the way
From the earth to the cross
My debt to pay
From the cross to the grave
From the grave to the sky
Lord, I lift Your name on high

It is an awesome song about how christ was willing to come down from heaven, live a perfect life on earth, and then die a gruesome death on the cross for us! Praise the lord that he didn't stay dead, but he rose from the dead and is alive today! I'm so thankful for his sacrifice so that my sins could be forgiven and I am now seen as righteous before god!

This is a simple song as the lines say its meaning. Meaning of first four lnes is i(singer)
lift lords name high, he loves to sing the praises of christ. He(singer) is so glad because jesus is in his life and christ came down to save him from sin. Next lines describing how christ saved him?. Jesus came from heaven to earth as son of man to show the way to god, way to light, way to eternal life as he was path, truth and life. He came to earth then to cross then to grave for saving man from sin and from hell, then he resurected goes to sky means heaven. So the singer lifts the christ name high.
