Justin Nozuka – No Heaven lyrics

Young brother hand me the gun
On with it, off with it
I'm burning strong like the sun
I do believe, it's time for me

It's gonna hurt, but then I'm free

And I will be in heaven, with the angels
Flying over water, I am free
There will be no darkness, no pain

And young brother right when I'm done
Follow me, so we can be together
Watch me as I put it to my head
Hold my hand, don't turn your head

Don't turn your head
Turn your head

Soon I will be in heaven, with the angels
Flying over water, I am free
There will be no darkness, no pain, no pain

The anger will be gone
All depression will be gone
Only love from everyone
Soon as I pass one

Ten, nine, eight
Seven, six, five
Four, three, two

Oh old brother, what have you done
Oh old brother, what have you done

What if there's no heaven, and you find yourself alone
Walking through a tunnel, brother, everyone has gone

Betrayed by the one
You rest conscious in your grave
Brothers been betrayed
What about then
What if there's no heaven

I think with a song like this different people relate to it in different ways but I think the main jist of it is that the older brother wants to end his life, for then there will be no pain and he'll be with the angels. As soon as he passes one he'll be gone, with no anger, no depression and just love in heaven. But once the older brothers gone the younger one then realises, what if theres no heaven, he'll be alone, it wont be what he thought it was etc. What has his brother done?
    Pretty amazing tbh.
