Hillsong United – Lead Me To The Cross lyrics

Savior I come
Quiet my soul remember
Redemption's hill
Where Your blood was spilled
For my ransom
Everything I once held dear
I count it all as lost

Lead me to the cross
Where Your love poured out
Bring me to my knees
Lord I lay me down
Rid me of myself
I belong to You
Oh Lead me, lead me to the cross

You were as I
Tempted and trialed
You were
The word became flesh
Bore my sin and death
Now you're risen
Everything I once held dear
I count it all as loss

To your heart
To your heart
To your heart
Lead me to your heart

Everyday we always have something to complain about. For some people it always seem like the end of the world when it's only really petty stuff. If we would think only for one minute before we complain about what jesus endured for our salvation, our petty stuff and even the more serious things would not seem that horrible compare to all this suffering jesus had to go through. For me "lead me to the cross" is a reality check. Thank you jesus for your sacrifice.

God gave us a life to live and we should live it, not for ourselves but a life living for Christ he payed a price bigger than anyone could imagine he suffered not only though physical pain but he had to hear the children of God deny him and curse him, but he did it because he loved us and wants us to be able to dwell in his kingdom for eternity.

He surrendered his all for us - surrender your all to him and live your life for him. A true gentleman, who did not deserve this nor do we deserve what he gives us. Thank him moment by moment for his great love - a true love was poured out for us! Live and love like it!
May you have the true peace of God in your heart always! A very beautiful representation of what true love is - a willing sacrifice is what it takes. Be an "in it to win it" for the kingdom person and give god all the glory - he deserves all that and so much more. His only desire is to have a relationship with you. We were created so he would have someone to love!

Lead me to the cross. Wow. Theres too much meaning in it! I love that song! But when I scroll down and see the YouTube thin with jesus I have to scroll up quickly! God has done so many things for us and sadly most people don't even know is says in the bible that everyone will know his name at the end 2012 were going to die wow it also says nobody will know the time or date when he comes he will be like a thief in the night. Now to whoever is reading this is probably just scrolling down waiting for the end but I am a 13 year old girl I accepted christ in 2007 and ever since I've had miracle after miracle jesus has definitely changed my life and I hope for whoever is reading this has accepted cause you are my brother or sister in heaven and I want to see you there so I pray for you to accept jesus christ as your lord and savoir so you can have a loving and amazing everlasting life with jesus christ.

Lead me to the cross is one song I can't do without. Even if my day is busy and can't have time for my devotion, I just play this song and I feel refreshed. Cause it takes me back to were I first met him, to a place were nothing matters but kust want to stay with him forever. This song talks about salvation, the blood, and the finished work of christ. Go back to your first love.
