The part that stands out is the "drink these drainign seconds" I think they want to still be together, he definately is an alcoholic, which is something yuo need to catch, they aren't good for each other but they don't want to leave each other, one of those, they shoudln't be together yet thast all they want. And once they do become apart "1000 miles away there's nothing left to say" they may feel empty, and she wants to stop whatever it is he's doing, he wants her but he is realizing all he is causing is pain, suffering and for ehr to be unhappy, making him unhappy, not it's not a pick me up song, it is a reality song, which I admire and respect about these guys, kudos for the song, and for what it can mean for people in these situations!

I think the same, he fought with her, she got mad, they screamed at each other quite a bit, and he said things he didn't mean, she got mad and left him. Now he regrets it all and jsut wanted her back and that's it, all he wants is her and he is willing to wait for forever till she realizes she wants him too, I love this song, I use it quite a bit when My bf makes me mad.

@claire3000 your 100% right that he didn't write sqwat, but the guillotine ii was originally written for Ronnie to sing, by Max, or so I hear. This song has alot to it, he has realized a massive effe up, now he's trying to get ouyt of it and he's leaving the issues behind (ahaha issues good song) and how he was left there to take this flood of drama and crap on his own, but all in all was a great song.

I agree with nute to a degree, he seems to kind of come from a home that's broken so now every where he looks its broken, seeing as it could be anywhere in the world, so in turn it was everywhere he goes this dead, ghost like feel is always with him, and now every where he goes he's haunted but the ghosts of his past. Vs the city actually being haunted.

So this songs pretty effed up he loves her so much, he wants her so bad, insanely bad! And he is willing to just be/sleep with anything and have anyone take his love/life with them. But to die is to live in her head. So if he lives fast dies younge he'll get to keep him within her head! So he's willing in order to keep his heart and head about him, so he'll end everything so she'll never forget him.

I love this song, I think its my top 2 in my list of songs! I agree with Sara, I do the black eyeliner and dark clothing but I am actually quite approchable, well back to the song. I love this song, he knows he's done something serioulsy wrong but he is hiding, he doesn't want to be caught by anyone for his crimes. Ronnie we know what this is about! But it is passionate and has alot of meaning in it, which makes me sooo happy!
