The inspiration this band has put into their work compells me! This band is very real and they know how write a good song!

i think this song is about how our family system is crumbling, getting worse.. and sometimes we can do nothing about it, or we can, but choose not to.

its really kinda depressing

OK so the meaning I found behind every sentence in the song might be way different from what mike is trying to talk about. But i think it is worth sharing about, i guess :P

"Whatever happened to the integrity found within a family?"
OK so i think here mike is asking what is wrong with the adherence of people to stick to morals and ethics in a "family" or the class of human beings.

ok so i took 'you' as a criminal from the newspaper so this is what i think mike is talking about-) mike is not only frightened but also angry at the picture of the criminal staring at him..

OK so here mike is talking to the same bad guy blaming him that he has been distorting or changing how things should normally go like for example i thought the person was a criminal and killed people so he changed the life of ppl who died by killing them.

here mike might mean the fact how the bad guy i.e 'you' buried, destroyed his treasure or good qualities.

"We are the constant decay.
Each note will disintegrate."
WE here might mean the whole human population i guess who are falling apart every time bad guys like him does bad stuffs and that is disintegrating WE.

"Perched upon our towers, motionless and miserable."
talking about how we r sitting and not being able to do anything about all the bad stuffs happening, motionless and feeling miserable about it.

"How deceiving is the cemetery of motivation.
I wish to write a conclusion"
so yeah here WE are trying to get motivated from all the bad stuffs happening but we know it is just to deceive us, just so that we don't feel bad anymore.
