Simple Plan – Crazy lyrics

Tell me what's wrong with society
When everywhere I look I see
Young girls dying to be on tv
They won't stop till they've reached their dreams

Diet pills, surgery
Photoshop pictures in magazines
Telling them how they should be
It doesn't make sense to me

Is everybody going crazy?
Is anybody gonna save me?
Can anybody tell me what's going on?
Tell me what's going on
If you open your eyes
You'll see that something is wrong

I guess things now are not how they used to be
There's no more normal families
Parents act like enemies,
Making kids feel like it's World War 3

No one cares, no one's there
I guess we're all just too damn busy
And money's our first priority
It doesn't make sense to me

Is everybody going crazy?
Is anybody gonna save me?
Can anybody tell me what's going on?
Tell me what's going on
If you open your eyes,
You'll see that something is wrong

Is everybody going crazy?
Is everybody going crazy?

Tell me what's wrong with society
When everywhere I look I see
Rich guys driving big suv's
When kids are starving in the streets

No one cares
No one likes to share
I guess life's unfair

Is everybody going crazy?
Is anybody gonna save me?
Can anybody tell me what's going on?
Tell me what's going on
If you open your eyes,
You'll see that something, something is wrong

Is everybody going crazy?
Can anybody tell me what's going on?
Tell me what's going on
If you open your eyes,
You'll see that something is wrong

This is about the insanity of being alive when life itself has no redeeming value to it.
Love is a chemical high, jesus is dying for sin, the buddah sits in a corner and does nothing, drugs can't cure diseases, doctors can't heal patients, and we can't even think about how we'll find a way out. I am going to burn in hell forever so it won't make a difference if I commit the worst sins or die to redeem myself because there is no redemption. It only seems unbelievable because otherwise hell would be escapable.

This song expresses the world. All of simple plans songs do. The parents making kids feel like it's worls war three line hit me hard, then again, so did the rest of the lyrics. Good song, thanx 4 posting. Dear xxrepsevxx, I love your
avatar picture. I downloaded it, and I don't wanna seem like a copy cat, but can I put it up as my avatar?
    P. S. How do you change your avatar picture?
    The orange depression.

This is life. People are just so caught in trying to be something that they're not and they are losing themselves and making things really bad. To me it's like people are cloning themselves so we just get a bunch of people that are the same! It doesn't make things interesting, that's for sure. If people would snap out of it and get back to being themselves and clean up the world, we just might be getting somewhere.
