this song everyone i dont care male female you can relate to if you been hurt by a person or persons.. i can really relate being female and devoting my life to a man who broke me and broke my heart over and over again
to be honest this song is conserverstail wether its about amy or another girl but in the end he is talking about how hes "so much more than meets the eyes" and how he has inner strength while someone is trying to "break him down" ect and overall this is a great song and good band
Shaun himself said that this song had nothing to do with Amy he said "Amy and I, at our worst moments, were still better than this last girl and I at our best moments." so for those believing he was showing his side of the story, he's actually telling a completly different one altogether.
This is a really meaningful song, it shows that Seether isn't just a post-grunge band.
Yeah, this was definately written to show his side of the story. He's saying that no matter how hard you try to make him hate himself or how much you try to 'break him down' he's not going to yeild because he know that, even though he probably did screw up somewhere, he knows that you can't blame one person like she's trying to. He knows that people make mistakes and he's not going to let you beat him up over it.
well in this song it is saying that he did do somethin wrong "i should have been drown in the rivers i've found token lost"& " i could have tired to devote my life to the both of us" so he is saying that he did do soemthing wrong which is good because he not just putting all the blame on amy lee and then he talks about how she was wrong also but that not the piont over all this song is amazing i love this band
