My tears run down like razorblades
And no, I'm not the one to blame
It's you, or is it me?
And all the words we never say
Come out and now we're all ashamed
And there's no sense in playing games
When you've done all you can do

But now it's over, it's over, why is it over?
We had the chance to make it
Now it's over, it's over, it can't be over
I wish that I could take it back
But it's over

I lose myself in all these fights
I lose my sense of wrong and right
I cry, I cry
It's shaking from the pain that's in my head
I just wanna crawl into my bed
And throw away the life I led
But I won't let it die, but I won't let it die

It's over, it's over, why is it over?
We had the chance to make it
Now it's over, it's over, it can't be over
I wish that I could take it back

I'm falling apart, I'm falling apart
Don't say this won't last forever
You're breaking my heart, you're breaking my heart
Don't tell me that we will never be together
We could be, over and over
We could be, forever

I'm falling apart, I'm falling apart
Don't say this won't last forever
You're breaking my heart, you're breaking my heart
Don't tell me that we will never be together
We could be, over and over
We could be, forever

It's not over, it's not over, it's never over
Unless you let it take you
It's not over, it's not over, it's not over
Unless you let it break you
It's not over

I love this song. Its about how a guy feels bad cuz he's with a gurl that he loves, but he doesn't want to date anymore, and finally when he says its over, later he regrets it and asks "why is it over?" my interpretation is that these two teens liked each other, but every chance they had to date was ruined and eventually, they lost their chance to make it work when one of them moved away, and no matter what, they had to accept the fact that it was over. I saw them live over the Summer. One word; ah-mazing.
This to me is about a couple that excessively fights. And there fights are tearing them farther and farther apart. They fight about stuff that doesn't even matter and they don't even know who's fault it is anymore. (And, no I'm not the one to blame. It's you, or is it me?) They are saying stuff that they never say to each other and hurting each other. (And all the words we never say, come out, and then were all ashamed.) He's saying they've done everything to help their relationship but it's over. (and there's no sense in playing games, when you've done all you can do, but it's over.) He's saying he doesn't want to let there relationship 'die' like he says. He wishes he could take it all back and they could be the same again. Then they get back together again in the end because they are so in love with each other, and they won't let their fights break them apart.

Its not over is a song that people can listen to and can relate to. I can relate to it because my boyfriend and I just recently broke up. He used me just because I would kiss him and then when he was done with me, he didn't talk to me. At the end of the day, he would just say "bye". That's all. So I broke up with him and now I regret it. I miss him and I haven't stopped thinking about him.
