Lipstick junkie
Debunk the all in one, she
Came back wearing a smile

Lookin' like someone drugged me
That wanted to unplug me
No one here is on trial
It's just a turnaround
And we go, oh
And then we go oh oh oh oh

Tic toc I want to
Rock you like the 80's
Cock blockin' isn't allowed
Tugboat Sheila
Is into memorabilia
Who said three is a crowd
We better get it on the go

(Chorus)
Hey now
We've got to make it rain somehow
She told me to
And showed me what to do
Our Maggie makes it in a cloud

I said Hey now
We've got to make it rain somehow
She told me to
And showed me what to do
She knows how to make it loud

Rain dance Maggie
Advances to the final
Who knew that she had the goods
Little did I know her body
Was warm delicious vinyl
To your neck of the woods
I want to lick a little bit

(Chorus)
Hey now
We've got to make it rain somehow
She told me to
And showed me what to do
Our Maggie makes it in a cloud

(Guitar solo)

You've got the wrong girl
But not for long girl
It's in the song girl
'Cause I'll be gone girl

(Chorus)
Hey now
We've got to make it rain somehow
She told me to
And showed me what to do
Our Maggie makes it in a cloud

I said Hey now
I want to rock this rowdy crowd
She told me to
And showed me what to do
She knows how to make it loud

But not for long girl
It's in the song girl
'Cause I'll be gone 'bye 'bye 'bye yeah
'Bye 'bye 'bye girl

(Scat vocals)

Keith himself told me this is about a girl named Maggie that is a transvestite from Kentucky (the words are actually lipstick Kentucky junkie) who is on a journey to make it rain. The only way she can do this is by breaking it down in the club - "delicious vinyl" here refers to the 80s, which were a time when cockblocking wasn't allowed. Maggie then travels on a friendly tug boat woman - Tug Boat Shiela - who is into World War II memorabilia, as the song states - to find Anne Frank.

sex debunked him, unplugged him perhaps too much of it was liking trying to make it rain, where in fact the weather doesn't change so you better enjoy the dance and not try so hard to make it 'rain'... doing so was draining him rather than turning him on it was turning him off - pushed by a lipstick junkie or pulled by a tug boat, pushed or pulled no more he is gone, he and his desire are now in the song? Ms. Unregistered again.

Heck if I know...clearly sexual but then sex is a metaphor for release and connection (as is the real deal when it is the real deal) but then music is that too. So when he says you've got the wrong girl its in the song girl perhaps he is singing to the the women who think its about sex and unplugging him when music is the sex, the rain, the release and connection. It aint about the girl or getting it on with one. Maybe for a moment or a night but in the long run ITS IN THE SONG? When she and he are gone, still its in the song
