I see you
Lingering around
Like a bad idea
Echoing salvation
Threatening damnation
About to drop you like Cain, like Cain dropped Able
About to drop you like Cain, like Cain dropped Able

Your no medium
Just the scum on the shallow end of a assumption
Time to come correct son
Rapture, my a**
You better hope He takes you
Before I do
About to drop you like Cain dropped Able
About to drop you like Cain
You better hope he takes you
About to drop you like Cain

I've had enough of your voodoo
About to drop you like Cain
You better hope he takes you

Wrote to Soddam
Your Gomorrah
Delivering redemption
Feel my resurrection
About to drop Cain, like Cain dropped Able
About to drop you like Cain
You better hope he takes you
About to drop you like Cain
I've had enough of your voodoo
About to drop you like Cain
You better hope he takes you
Before I do

Definitely towards harold camping and all the others that keep coming up with these dooms day theories. I mean for crying out loud the songs name is rapture (fear is a mind killa) < also referring to the fear that they try to place in their followers or potential followers of their ignorant prophecies. I think the song bluntly expresses maynard's feelings towards the repetitive "end of days" prophecy trend that keeps flooding the media.

There seems to be a lot of conflict concerning mjk's feelings towards the possibility of global disaster and I feel this could be cleared up if you look at each instance where he refences "bible thumpers" idea of a rapture is derogatory, but there seems to be many other occasions where he brings up 2012 and other more ancient prophacies or predictions of catastrophy suchas "ma's gonna flush it all away" with tool in aenema with a sort of longing.
