this song has one of the sickest riffs i have ever heard, especially when it comes to metallica :) this song is the best! i love how it starts off so slow and it kind of goes into this transsiberian orchestra thing. its great. metallica is the best! :)

Yup thats totally true CyanideKing360 that is what this song is all about. I am one of the biggest metallica fans. I have every cd they ever made and I absolutely love all their songs.

the lyrics of "Battery" discuss the control that anger can have over one's behavior. The title refers to "battery" in the sense of "assault and battery", as shown by these lyrics: "Smashing through the boundaries / Lunacy has found me / Cannot stop the battery".
