(Ahh-hah-hoowoo)
(Ahh-hah-oo-hoowoo)
(Ahh-hah-oo-hoowoo)

Pray God you can cope
I'll stand outside
This woman's worth
This woman's world
Oh it's hard on a man
Now his part is over
Now starts the craft of the father

I know you've got a little life in you left
I know you've got a lotta strength left
I know you've got a little life in you left
I know you've got a lotta strength left
I should be cryin' but I just can't let it show
I should be hopin' but I can't stop thinkin'
All the things we should've said that are never said
All the things we should've done that we never did
All the things we should've given, but I didn't
Oh darlin', make it go
Make it go away

Give me these moments
Give them back to me
Give me your little kiss
Give me your...

(I know you've got a little life in you left)
Give me your hand baby
(I know you've got a lotta strength)
Give me your pretty hand
(I know you've got a little life in you left)
Ooo show me you understand
(I know you've got a lotta strength left)
Your lovechild
(I know you've got a little life in you left)
Whatever you need baby
(I know you've got a lotta strength left)
Give me your hand
(I know you've got a little life in you left)
Give me your love
(I know you've got a lotta strength left)

I should be cryin' but I just can't let it show baby
I should be hopin' but I can't stop thinkin
All the things we should've said that we never said
All the things we should've done that we never did
All the things that you wanted from me
All the things that you needed from me
All the things we should've given, but I didn't
Oh darlin', make it go away now,
Just make it go away. (x2)

A man realizes the value of the woman he is either losing or has already lost. Sadness. Tragic. Time has run out and the pain of the memories won't go away. *This is my story. *Advice: love fully & whole-heartedly young people. Give your all when and while you can, 'cause that one you love now may not be there tommorow?

I have loved this song ever since I saw She's having a baby. It has taken on a new meaning now. My husband and I will be married 43 years next year and we can't believe how the time has flown by. Please tell the person you are with that you love them and appreciate them as often as you can because you never know how much time God has blessed you both with. Make certain you never get too busy to let that person know how much they mean to you and how much they are loved even if you think they know its always nice for them to hear and you will never have any regrets and have to say I wish I had told them. You need to tell them!

When I was two and my parents were going through a divorce I can remember one of our last outings together where my dad just played this song on repeat because he didn't want me and my mom to leave, but he knew that he was wrong in his ways and not ready to raise/have a family. To me this song is very meaningful in a lot of different ways. I can never get through this song without crying becuase I feel like this is the first time I realized that my parents were not going to be together anymore. Though I have grown up I still hold on to this song as the last memory of my family together.

The song was brilliantly written by Kate Bush for the movie "She's Having a Baby". My daughters and I watched it repeatedly back in the 80's. However, this song has since taken on a new meaning in 2014. My oldest daughter struggles with drug addiction and recovery has been an almost impossible process. I played Maxwell's version of the song for her on a long drive to a treatment facility. I prayed to God that she could learn to cope as I continue to stand outside "this woman's work", and let the craft of the father begin. The battle hasn't been won yet â€" but I know she has the strength to do it. I am uncertain of her outcome but the song inspires me to keep trying to encourage her, and I hope it inspires her to keep trying.

This song is about a woman giving birth! As much as I love love & basketball um... that was a whole different outlook of the song!I know its not Maxwell's song but it is a brilliant song with beautiful music and if you just listen to more besides the vocals and listen to more and the quality of his voice he is really telling the story.you can hear the emotion and passion and that's what Maxwell does and that is what he did in the song!
