I personally think that what he is trying to portray is a relationship; and the woman has cheated on him, and he needs no convincing he is positive about it because this isn't the first time:

But I think he is forgiving her, and being the bigger person by wanting to talk about it (come on over, be so caught up its all about compromise) and he is telling her to not worry, that things will work out (dont let the darkness eat you up)
