Big picture slowly fades, walls are closing in,
And there I was cursing the ground, unable to understand.

I won't let the world break me, so I need to change direction.
Nothing special and far from perfect! Light the way for me.

(I won't say I'm sorry, I got what I deserve...)

Feel I was running an endless mile!
Last candle burns and I'm dying inside!
All of this will turn to ash, a change for a peace of mind.

Walking where the dead ships dwell,
These are shores I left behind.
Streets were getting smaller and I had to leave!

Feel I was running an endless mile!
Last candle burns and I'm dying inside!
All of this will turn to ash, a change for a peace of mind.

All I hear is noise, hearts of false hope.
Guess I took it for granted.
I know I went too far, I won't say I'm sorry.
I got what I deserve, I got what I deserve!

Feel I was running an endless mile!
Last candle burns and I'm dying inside!
All of this will turn to ash, a change for a peace of mind!

Feel I was running an endless mile!
Last candle burns and I'm dying inside!
All of this will turn to ash, a change for a peace of mind.

From a Buddhist perspective, the dead ships are delusions you held about the future that no longer work. Had dreams of marrying a girl and she died? The thoughts, desires, imaginings of this unrealized future becomes like a ship, and as you imagine what will happen, it sails beautifully though the ocean. Once that ship can no longer sail, it dies and washes up on the shores of the landscape of your mind, between the land, forebrain and consciousness, and the ocean, the subconscious. As the ships pile up on the shore, something has to change....

It means they dwell in dead ships and necropolis is where the ships are, so they are all dead since necropolis means city of the dead

Seems like its a city that got destroyed and he's the only one alive seeing the destruction. And the ships must be buildings. That's what i think.

Reaching the depths of your demise .. Nothing around you but dead ships at the bottom of a sea of nothingness. Pictures fade, walls closing in, hearts of false hopes, all turning to ash .. Sounds like someone who's hit absolute rock bottom and is struggling to find their way out .. A way out that seems to easy but is none-the-less impossible to reach.

It means dead ships break in a hole(a small hole that smells bad) and the ships are old so that makes them break
