This song is hard on guitar hero 3 i can never beat it on expert.

i do not think this is an "emo" song...just because it is about suicide doesnt make it emo...not all emos are suicidal and not all suicidal people are emos

On the contrary to what everyone here has said...
I think that this song is speaking out to people who are feeling the thoughts of suicide. notice how in the end of the music video, everyone stops what they were doing that would have killed themselves. It's basically telling people with those thoughts to think about there life one more time before taking it from themselves. When he's saying all those emo things, I think he's really just informing us on what those people are thinking, not what he's saying or thinking himself. I'm not emo in any way but I do get thoughts of if my life really does mean anything sometimes, then I end up in deep thought about how my life is better then what I think at that one, impulsive, insignificant moment. And this song reminds me of those moments and how I always seem to beat those short thoughts of unimportance.

Yes it sounds extremely emo etc but i love this song never the less. It's about someone that is constantly thinking every bad thing possible about themselves and they want anyone's help even though they try and pretend its ok (2nd line). just read the bridge (if i never.. if i never ... make me understand your there for me) and the chorus (take this life, im right here. stay a while and breathe me in) means the person in perspective either wants you to be there for them or just hurry up and get rid of them

ohhh and as apposed to Cassy1196's post... ppl listen to music and remember good music that holds meaning to them... and its not the guitar riffs that hold meaning to ppl.. yeah the lyrics are fast and hard to understand unless you know them.. reguardless.. if you dont know what the song is about or dont give a damn then obviously the song holds no meaning for you so your post is very meaningless keep up the bad work.
