Oceans Will Part lyrics

Lyrics

Hillsong Oceans Will Part lyrics

If my heart has grown cold
There Your love will unfold
As You open my eyes to the work of Your hand
When I’m blind to my way
There Your Spirit will pray
As You open my eyes to the work of Your hand
As You open my eyes to the work of Your hand

[ Lyrics from: http://www.lyricsmode.com/lyrics/h/hillsong/oceans_will_part.html ]
Oceans will part nations come
At the whisper of Your call
Hope will rise glory shown
In my life Your will be done

Present suffering may pass
Lord Your mercy will last
As You open my eyes to the work of Your hand
And my heart will find praise
I’ll delight in Your way
As You open my eyes to the work of Your hand
As You open my eyes to the work of Your hand

For me it means that in god every challenges we have he will be there as long as we open ourselves to serve him. Come and be his servant.

The first verse tells us that even in those times when we push god away, he is still there & still willing to forgive & take us in from the cold. His love is enduring & far beyond human comprehension.

The chorus speaks of god's power, his majesty!
It also reminds us of biblical miracles god has done for his people in centuries gone by. He is the same god today!

The last verse encourages us to know that when all is said & done, when all the joys & storms of life have come & gone; our father god will still be there.

And so having meditated on all these attributes of a creator & father who commits to loving us & journeying with us all our days we surrender to his perfect will.
