Verse 1:
This is my prayer in the desert
When all that's within me feels dry
This is my prayer in my hunger and need
My God is the God who provides

Verse 2:
And this is my prayer in the fire
In weakness or trial or pain
There is a faith proved
Of more worth than gold
So refine me Lord through the flames

Chorus:
And I will bring praise
I will bring praise
No weapon formed against me shall remain

I will rejoice
I will declare
God is my victory and He is here

Verse 3:
And this is my prayer in the battle
When triumph is still on it's way
I am a conqueror and co-heir with Christ
So firm on His promise I'll stand

Chorus:
I will bring praise
I will bring praise
No weapon formed against me shall remain

I will rejoice
I will declare
God is my victory and He is here

Bridge:
All of my life
In every season
You are still God
I have a reason to sing
I have a reason to worship

Chorus:
And I will bring praise
I will bring praise
No weapon formed against me shall remain

I will rejoice
I will declare
God is my victory and He is here

Verse 4:
This is my prayer in the harvest
When favor and providence flow
I know I'm filled to be emptied again
The seed I've recieved I will sow

This is a prayer of my life, and since god is with me I will not fear and sing praise just like job did in his hard times although he went through a lot of trouble he still sang praises for god, although his wife said why he is still praising god if he gave him such trouble, she said, "you might as well curse god and die. " but job loved god and stayed faithful to him.

God always remains with me and with everyone who believes in him. Even in the desert when we do not feel he is there, he is! Like when you are taking a test at school, does the teacher speak to you? No. In the same way god may be silent when you are being tested in the desert or your faith is being refined by the flames. But he is still there. Whatever is happening it is the best for you.

Everything has it's time and place. During the difficult times we must remember that everything goes in cycles and it always ends well for those who believe in jesus christ. This is what paul meant when he said he has "learned to be abased and abound". Paul went through those cycles in life. As he said "rejoice in the lord always and again i say rejoice". Paul speaks of this because god is our victory because of his finished work on the cross. This world can bring disappointment but it can not steal our joy (unless we let it) because the big picture (salvation of our souls) had been taken care of. A pastor once put it this way. Scripture says the joy of the lord is our strength. If the enemy wants us to weaken us he goes for our joy so like paul told us, "rejoice... " the story does not end here and neither does yours. Your story will inspire someone else to use god's mercy promised through every sunrise to try again. So get, pray, sing to our faithful father and get with your brothers and sisters to walk with you through this storm. Soon you find yourself learning to dance rain pour and all. And that's when the sun (son) shine again.

,:-/ . Hurt and pain, waiting to be released, lightened or healed.
It hurts, it feels bad. It does hurt. It is hard very hard to keep waiting to be delievered. It just hurts. Some times just get distracted for a while trying to make time go fast but pain and hurt is felt again so not much chance to run away. Then just wait and hope. Hold to beleive all thhis has a purpose and goes beyond I could ever imagine. Hold on to believe on his promises, charcater and love. Hold on it will pass, it will pass. Victory, conquerors, . It may just mean be fully transformed and new creature become as eagles undressing the old. T are you s t! He is beyond faithfullness! T are you s t! ! Bc there is no where else to go. Trust! And wait for the lord almighty, even there is unbearable pain and hurt. Trust!
