Verse 1:
This is my prayer in the desert
And all that's within me feels dry
This is my prayer in my hunger and need
My God is the God who provides
Verse 2:
And this is my prayer in the fire
In weakness or trial or pain
There is a faith proved
Of more worth than gold
So refine me Lord through the flames
Chorus:
And I will bring praise
I will bring praise
No weapon formed against me shall remain
I will rejoice
I will declare
God is my victory and He is here
Verse 3:
And this is my prayer in the battle
When triumph is still on it's way
I am a conqueror and co-heir with Christ
So firm on His promise I'll stand
Bridge:
All of my life
In every season
You are still God
I have a reason to sing
I have a reason to worship
Verse 4:
This is my prayer in the harvest
When favor and providence flow
I know I'm filled to be emptied again
The seed I've recieved I will sow
for every trial remember that therre is someone to lean on. When the bones are dried God will make a way to make it alive. Keep the faith burning in your heart. GOD never looses a battle. Finish the race that you have started. KEEP BELIEVING, NEVER QUIT AND NO TURNING BACK!

the Bridge to the song is my inspiration. He is still God, I have a reason to worship. Not to long ago, I was dismissed from my school for falling 0.023 of a point away from the standard. it broke my heart. it's all i've wanted to ever to do or be in life. and just a few days ago, i broke up with someone i loved. today, as i worshipped, i have faith that God will save me, and I STILL have a reason to worship. Amen.
I am a high school student struggling to get into the college God has called me to go to. My grades are not good enough, and I don't have the money(by far) to attened. But regarless I know God has a plan and He will get me there one way or another. This song has become my prayer, praise, and decleration. And the song is right-"All of my life
In every season
You are still God
I have a reason to sing
I have a reason to worship"
No matter what cercumstances we face, weather your husband is fighting for his life, or you've just lost your job, or you're fighting for your marriage, or you a high school student trying to get into college. These lyrics are so right. No matter our circumstances or our season our God is the God who provides, and He will bring victory!
Jill McCloghry wrote this song and about a week and a half before recording the song she went into premature labor with her first son Max. He was only 23 weeks and 5 days old. He died after one day. She went to the recording but didn't feel God's presence because she was so numb from the loss. She said about a month after the recording she realized that the song was perfect for her and that God was speaking to her the entire time through this song.
