She...
She screams in silence
A sullen riot penetrating through her mind
Waiting for a sign
To smash the silence with the brick of self-control

[Chorus:]
Are you locked up in a world
That's been planned out for you?
Are you feeling like a social tool without a use?
Scream at me until my ears bleed
I'm taking heed just for you

She...
She's figured out
All her doubts were someone else's point of view
Waking up this time
To smash the silence with the brick of self-control

[Chorus]

EHHHHHH, AHHHHHHHHHH!

[Chorus]

"She" was written by Armstrong about a former girlfriend who showed him a feminist poem with an identical title. In return, Armstrong wrote the lyrics of "She" and showed them to her. She later moved to Ecuador, prompting Armstrong to put "She" on the album.

i could relate to this song.. it's about a person who had her life controlled by other people.. and she can't do the things she wants to do.. she had no other choice than to follow all the rules.. and no matter how much she wanted to hang out and have fun, they would not let her to.. her life is manipulated and lived by selfish people..

I don't know if it has something to do with billie or his gf or something.. But for me it's just about a song from a concerned friend or lover that encouraging the she character to open up and the i persona is willing to listen and maybe give comfort for the she character to feel better. -tikyo
