I think most of Flyleaf's songs relate to thier lives and how they have lived or are living them. If you know anything about them, they are Christians. They believe in God but I think they sing of hope. That there is light in the darkness of this world. On the other side, I think thier songs can relate to anyone. If you listen to thier lyrics, you can take from them what you want.
Well this song is awesome just like all of Flyleaf's songs haha but if you notice, most songs pertain to religious things. Like in Do You Hear Waht I Hear? it ties to baby Jesus. All Around Me speaks of angels, in OK Tina, she praying to God near the end so basically this one is about good and bad, God and the Deviil. This proves that they may sound goth, but they're not. I think Lacey sings aout God to remind herself how she's not alone in bad times.
