I think it's about her being physically abused. She was forced to grow up too fast dealing with it, then realizes that the abuser was in the same situation as she was, and forgives the abuser. She then states she's done healing and isn't going to be bitter about it anymore.

I don't think this is a song about Lacey explaining her experiance of being raped like "jaktheedancer3" said. Lacey Mosely Was'nt raped. I personaly think this song was about her being abused,then being able to get over it and move on. Anywho, this is a very good song like all of Flyleafs' work.
