well guys...actually... I think that this is about Lacey...her past,u know the part from the 1st verse "you've been broken and abused by u" she abused herself,she did drugs wen she was only 10,she was forced 2 grow up and mature and understand the world at a very young age and the people all around her didn't realized how much she is suffering in the world she found so hard,LACEY MET DEATH AND FOUGHT IT...and the chorus is about the day that she was saved,the day she believed in God,and the day that she realized that she was living because she is worth the world,she made a character so similar to her,that she is the "Amy" girl in the song and that's the beautiful part of every song that Lacey composes,and i also think that this song is about reaching to other people and to yourself help,hope,faith and love changes the ways we see everything...=) this song is truly inspirational so is Lacey
I think this song is about a girl who struggled through a lot of things. After a while she starte to feel like nobody listened and verybody lied. She didnt want to tell people the truth, because she didn't want to face the truth herself.
The truth was that she was doing it all to herself, she made everything bad by looking at it that way.
Then she saw how people enjoyed life even the little things that make a difference in how you feel, and she realized that the world was not so bad after all. When she realized that, everything opened up to her and she saw clearly how easy it could be to just be happy with what is an what she had.
